KJS Training Terms & Conditions

By enrolling in a course or workshop with KJS Training, you agree to the following terms.


1. Enrolment

  • All bookings are subject to availability
  • Accurate information must be provided at registration
  • Enrolment is confirmed once payment is received or agreed

2. Payments

  • Payment must be made prior to course commencement unless otherwise arranged
  • Payment plans may be available upon request
  • For NDIS participants, payment may be processed via plan managers or providers where applicable

3. Refund & Cancellation Policy

We aim to be fair, flexible, and transparent.

Participant Cancellations

  • 7+ days before training: Full refund or free reschedule
  • 3–6 days before training: 50% refund or free reschedule
  • Less than 48 hours notice: No refund, but rescheduling may be offered at our discretion

Non-Attendance

  • Failure to attend without notice will result in forfeiture of fees

KJS Training Cancellations

  • If we cancel or reschedule a course, you will be offered:
    • A full refund, or
    • Transfer to another session

Exceptional Circumstances

We understand that unexpected situations arise. Refunds or credits may be considered on a case-by-case basis (e.g. illness, emergencies).


4. Course Changes

KJS Training reserves the right to:

  • Adjust course content
  • Change trainers
  • Reschedule sessions where necessary

Participants will be notified of significant changes.


5. Participation Requirements

Participants agree to:

  • Actively engage in training
  • Follow trainer instructions
  • Maintain respectful behaviour
  • Disclose any relevant health or support needs where appropriate

Some courses may have prerequisite knowledge or skills.


6. Certification

Certificates will be issued where applicable, subject to:

  • Attendance
  • Participation
  • Successful completion of any required assessments

7. NDIS-Specific Terms

Where services are provided to NDIS participants or providers:

  • Services will align with NDIS Practice Standards where applicable
  • We aim to deliver training that supports safe, high-quality care for NDIS participants
  • Participants, providers, and support coordinators are responsible for ensuring training aligns with individual plans and funding categories
  • Any claims made through NDIS funding must comply with current NDIS pricing arrangements

8. Intellectual Property

All course materials remain the property of KJS Training and must not be copied, shared, or reproduced without permission.


9. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, KJS Training is not liable for:

  • Injury, loss, or damage during training
  • Outcomes from applying skills learned

Nothing excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.


10. Privacy

Your information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.


11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales.
